End User License Agreement

1. Acceptance

If you do not agree to this EULA, do not download, install, or use Pimio. If you use the app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. License grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and the Terms of Use, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Pimio on devices you own or control for your personal, non-commercial journaling use.

3. Restrictions

Except as permitted by applicable law, you may not:

• Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of Pimio
• Distribute, rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the app
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from Pimio
• Remove or alter proprietary notices in the app
• Use Pimio for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights
• Use automated systems to access the app without authorization

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pimio. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Pimio is not directed at anyone under 18, and use by minors is not permitted.

5. Accounts and device storage

You may sign in with Apple or email. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and your device.

Your journal entries, memoir content, photos, preferences, and account details are stored primarily on your device and associated with your Pimio account on that device. You may sign out or delete your account from the Me tab.

6. App features

Pimio provides personal journaling tools, including daily writing with mood tracking, Echo memory revisits, Memoir chapters and milestones, streaks, mood insights, optional reminders, and optional in-app purchases or subscriptions available through your device’s app store.

Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time as the app evolves.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of journal entries, photos, reflections, and other materials you create in Pimio. You grant us a limited license to store and display your content within the app solely to provide Pimio features on your device.

You are responsible for the content you create and for complying with applicable laws.

8. In-app purchases

Optional purchases and subscriptions are governed by our Terms of Use and by the billing terms of Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable. We do not process payment card information directly within Pimio.

9. Updates

Pimio may automatically download and install updates released through the app store. Updates may be required to continue using certain features. Updates remain subject to this EULA unless accompanied by revised terms.

10. Not medical advice

Pimio is for personal reflection and journaling only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or emergency services. Do not use Pimio as a substitute for professional care.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information Pimio handles and the choices available to you. By using Pimio, you consent to the practices described in that policy.

12. Intellectual property

Pimio and all related trademarks, logos, software, visual design, and documentation (excluding your content) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. This EULA does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

Pimio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use Pimio.

15. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling Pimio and deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend your license if you breach this EULA or the Terms of Use.

Upon termination, your right to use Pimio ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

16. Export and legal compliance

You agree to use Pimio in compliance with applicable export control, sanctions, and other laws in your jurisdiction.

17. Changes to this EULA

We may update this EULA as Pimio evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated EULA.
